How we can help
Our community care partners offer a range of support services, all of which are tailored to suit you.
Dependant on your needs you’ll be visited in the home (or another place of care) by a team of either nurse specialists or healthcare assistants at times that suit you - whether it’s first thing in a morning or before you go to bed. Our daytime services are available between 7.30am and 9:30pm, with sessions usually lasting between 30 and 60 minutes. We’re also able to arrange for someone to stay with you in your home overnight, should you need it, between the hours of 10pm and 7am.
Our team of nurse specialists can offer advice on how best to relieve symptoms or control any pain you may be experiencing. They’re also on hand to provide emotional support to both yourself and those closest to you. Some of our team are nurse prescribers and are able to write prescriptions, this way, we can ensure that you always receive the correct medication in a timely manner.
If you require a more hands on care package, our healthcare assistants can help. Our expertly trained team are there to provide support with personal care including feeding, washing, toileting and pressure area care, as well as offering advice, encouragement and emotional support.
We’re on hand to support you 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Telephone support is available between the hours of 8am and 10pm, and emergency visits can be arranged.
Our Community care team are also able to refer you to other Compton services if needed.
