Bereavement Support

We will work with you to understand your current needs and agree your bereavement care accordingly. From the type of support offered, to the frequency of sessions we will always aim to find the right fit for you.

Most people choose to take some time for themselves before accessing support. But if you need help sooner, do get in touch, we will always aim to accommodate your needs. Many people think of accessing bereavement care as a last resort for desperate circumstances, but it doesn’t need to be. Alongside receiving support from your friends and family members, you might find it helpful to talk to a trained listener who is outside of your immediate circle.

Our bereavement care is available for anyone whose loved one has received support from Compton Care.  If you’ve had a friend or family member cared for on our Inpatient Unit, by our teams out in the community, or within our Living Well centre, you can access our free bereavement care.
