Ways You Can Donate

We appreciate all of your kind donations. We sell them on our online shop, as well as within our stores across Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall, South Staffordshire and east Shropshire, where the profits go towards supporting people with a life limiting condition.

Our experienced, trained staff are professional, considerate and helpful and aim to minimise any stress of clearing a home. Our team assess for saleable and recyclable items and send goods to our stores to raise money for our charity.

We offer both a partial house clearance, which is free, and a full house clearance service which is chargeable.

Post Your Donations For Free

Donate your pre-loved collectables, quality clothing, jewellery and more with our free postal donation service. We have teamed up with ClickSit to provide a free post label that can be attached to box-full of generous donations. You can include as many items as you want in your box – as long as it fits within the dimensions provided and is under the weight allowance of 10kg.

We welcome most pre-loved items, but there are certain items we’re unable to accept. With any donation, the most important feature is that items are complete, working and in excellent condition, as we are not able to sell broken or poor quality items.

How To Send in Your Donations

We’ve made it as simple as possible for you to send us the items you would like to donate.

  1. Firstly, you’ll need to get your free post label by entering your email address with ClickSit, you’ll then be emailed your label which will need to be printed off and  attached to your package.
  2. Fill your box to the dimensions and to the maximum weight of 10kg.
  3. Find your local Collect+ store and simply drop your package off and wait to receive a notification from us that it has been received.

It’s important to package your items appropriately if any are breakable elements, as we can’t take responsibility for the condition the boxes arrive in.

Donate to your local Compton Care shop

We welcome donations of clothing, jewellery, bric-a-brac and small electrical items in all of our shops. When donating, please ensure that items are packaged securely and that any fragile items are well wrapped. For more information about our Compton Care shops, including opening times, click the below button.

When donating in store, you will be asked if you are registered as a Gift Aid donor. If you are a Gift Aid donor, a member of the team will ask for your postcode and to confirm some basic details so that we can label your donation as a gift aided item. Full information regarding Gift Aid can be found here.
