Compton Care is governed by our experienced Board of Trustees, all of whom generously offer their time free of charge.

They strategically oversee the management and administration of the organisation and lead the following Committees:

  • Quality Assurance
  • Finance & Income Generation
  • Remuneration

Each Committee has a minimum of three members who are Trustees, supported by other key Compton Care staff who have particular skills and expertise relevant to that Committee.

Our Trustees bring a unique and high standard of skill, expertise and passion to the charity to help ensure Compton continues to deliver high quality care and experiences to our patients, service users and supporters.

“I am delighted to be a member of the Compton family. As an experienced nurse in the NHS, I often felt frustrated at the way in which we cared for patients requiring palliative care as quite often it lacked that individual approach which can result in people feeling marginalised and afraid. At Compton Care, the emphasis is on the individual and their families to ensure their experience is the best it can be. The whole organisation is clearly cited on this, not just the clinical staff but everyone. The service delivered at Compton Care is invaluable and I feel privileged that I am able to contribute.”
