Richard's Story

On what is the most difficult journey a family can make, watching a loved one slowly ebb away, the team, the surrounding and the care provided to both patient and family is amazing.  In a sweet and sour dish, Compton provided the sweetness. As a family we will never forget…

Platinum member

Total Construction Supplies Ltd

Wolverhampton-based business Total Construction Supplies Ltd is the leading British manufacturer and supplier of steel reinforcement and building accessories. It is the second business to join the Business Club as a platinum member.

Having been one of the sponsors for Compton Care’s 40th birthday gala dinner in 2022, the local construction firm gained an understanding of the charity’s vital and integral care functions and the importance of the support it receives. Compton Care has impacted many lives within the business and local community, which is why the company chose Compton Care as its charity of the year. The business has pledged to support Compton in various ways, such as participating in fundraising events such as the Wolverhampton 10K.

Craig Gibbons, COO of Total Construction Supplies Ltd, said:

By joining the Business Club as a platinum member, we can support Compton Care to continue providing outstanding free care and support to the local community for many more years to come. We also hope to encourage and inspire others to do the same.

Inaugural Member

McAuliffe Group

Wolverhampton-based McAuliffe Group, a brownfield remediation contractor, has become the first platinum member of Compton Care’s new Business Club.

The family run business, which has had relatives supported by the charity, has previously raised substantial funds, helping Compton to care for their patients and families affected by an incurable condition.

Their membership to the Business Club follows McAuliffe’s announcement of choosing Compton Care as one of its charity partners. Their support of Compton Care included sponsoring the charity’s Memory Walk event in 2022.

John McAuliffe, Group Managing Director at McAuliffe Group, said:

We’ve been impressed by the team and facilities at Compton Care, and the incredible support they provide to the community.  We hope that, as a platinum Business Club member, we can help Compton achieve vital fundraising goals and support even more local people.
