What We Can Offer

Getting Around

  • All areas have step-free access

  • We have lifts, ramps, and wide doors

  • There are disabled toilets and disabled parking spaces

  • We can lend wheelchairs or walkers

For People with Sight or Hearing Needs

  • We can offer large print or audio

  • You can bring a guide dog or hearing dog (or any therapy support animal needed)

  • We have hearing loops

  • Our team speak clearly and are happy to repeat things

Language Help

  • We can book an interpreter (spoken or sign language)

  • We can show you how to use Google Translate on our website. Click on the three dots at the top right of your screen, and select ‘Translate’ and then select the language you would prefer.
  • You can bring a friend or family member to help

Support for Dementia

  • Our team is trained to give calm, kind support

  • We use clear signs and quiet spaces, and our Inpatient Rooms are specially adapted to help

  • You can take your time — there’s no rush

Accessibility Tools

  • Our website has an Accessibility Menu, where users can change how it looks to suit them. This includes a Dyslexia-friendly setting, and options to make the words bigger, change text spacing and line height, hide images and pause animations.   • We have a 24/7 Advice & Referral Line, where you can talk to a person, or referrals can be made online through our website.
