School Fundraising
Schools in our local community play a vital role in fundraising to support Compton Care and help us to provide care to patients diagnosed with a life limiting condition, and their families.
Young people are always really passionate fundraisers, and we love to work with schools to help them raise money for Compton whilst also learning some great life lessons and values.
We have carefully created and tailored two schools projects for our young, passionate fundraisers so they can raise funds for Compton whilst also learning some great life lessons and values.
‘Care is in the air’ is aimed at KS1 and ‘Walk your worry away’ is aimed at KS2 and Secondary.
If you would prefer, you could take part in our ‘Cuppa for Compton’ and host your very own cake sale to raise funds for Compton! You can simply sign up and download our pack to bake a difference!
Through our continued work with young people, we know that fundraising can provide students with ample opportunities to develop vital skills such as: how to work as a team, event organisation and management, communicating with different audiences and learning how to budget, being empathetic, timekeeping and problem solving.
Our fundraising team can arrange a visit to discuss how you can get involved, we can give talks in assemblies (in person or virtually) or we can even come into your lessons to discuss what we do, and its importance to the people of your community. We can tailor our talks to your requirements or can work with smaller groups of students for a more interactive way of learning.
If you would like any more information, or have any questions please get in touch with our Community Fundraising team, email fundraising@comptoncare.org.uk or call 0300 323 0250.
We look forward to hearing from you and supporting you with your fundraising!
Your support means we can be there for those who need it most
Are you able to join a Compton Care event, volunteer in one of our Compton Care shops or play our Lottery? Without your continued support, it wouldn’t be possible for us to provide our services, free of charge, to our patients and their loved ones.
