Our nurses support patients and families through some of life’s most difficult moments
They manage complex symptoms, ease pain and bring comfort when it’s needed most. But it’s often the moments in between that matter most.
When someone is frightened. When questions feel overwhelming. When families don’t know what comes next.
That’s when a nurse is there — bringing reassurance when everything feels uncertain, helping families navigate difficult moments, and ensuring they get the care and support they need.
You could be the reason someone gets the care they need.
Behind every visit, every phone call and every act of support is a dedicated nurse or care professional committed to making a difference.
In this video, our nurses to share what working at Compton Care means to them…

Dave, Senior Palliative Care Assistant
Although I've only been here a short time, I've been incredibly impressed by the warm welcome from the team. The care provided is outstanding, with every patient treated with dignity and respect. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and everyone is so kind, caring and compassionate.
Becky, Clinical Educator
I'm Becky, one of the Clinical Educators at Compton Care. I support nurses, paramedics, students and healthcare professionals to develop the skills and confidence they need to provide the very best care for patients and families. I love helping others learn and grow, knowing that together we can make a real difference to the experience of those receiving palliative care. Compton is a very special place to work, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of it.
