This Christmas, join Compton Care’s Light up a Life Appeal and remember someone special while making a difference for those facing life limiting illnesses. Your donation will help us provide vital care and compassion to patients and families when they need it most.
Make your dedication to be featured on our online Digital Book of Remembrance. Any donation you can make today, alongside your dedication, will have a huge impact on our patients and their families.
Whether you’re honouring a loved one or supporting others in need, your generosity brings light, hope, and comfort during the most difficult times.
After careful consideration and guidance from Met Office reports, we have decided to postpone our Light up a Life event, which was due to take place on Sunday, 8 December 2024, until the New Year.
With a yellow weather warning in place for Sunday due to gale-force winds and heavy rain, we have made the difficult decision not to go ahead with the event on Sunday and to look to reschedule for a new date in the New Year.
We appreciate the importance of coming together for events like this at this time of year, however the wellbeing of our supporters and those attending the event has been at the forefront of our minds while we were making this decision to move the date of the event.
Many of you have sent in photos and dedications that you were hoping to see at the event, and we will be making arrangements for these to be available for you to come in and view over the next couple of weeks. We will be making more information available about how you can do this soon.
We also know that many people like to hang a tag on our Tree of Light at the event so for anyone wishing to still do this, tags will be available until 1st January 2025 from Reception and our Crumbles Café at Compton Hall.
We understand that you may be disappointed, as are we, but the safety and wellbeing of those attending is the most important thing to us. We thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Celebrate the life of a loved one by making a dedication in their name. Your dedication will be featured in our online Digital Book of Remembrance. Any donation you can give with your dedication will support our ongoing care for patients and families throughout the year.
