Bringing Care Home for families like Joe’s

Bringing Care Home Appeal

Your support ensures that more people can spend their final days in the place they love most – home.

When Joe was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, she had one wish, to stay at home, surrounded by her loved ones. Thanks to Compton Care, she was able to do just that. Our dedicated nurses provided expert care, comfort, and support, allowing Joe to make precious memories with her family in her final days.

But this vital care is only possible because of the generosity of people like you. By donating today, you can ensure more families receive expert care at home, where they feel safest and most loved.

There's no place like home

Joe’s youngest daughter, Iris, turned six the day before Joe passed away. Joe was determined to make that birthday special, and with Compton’s help, she did. The very next day, with all of her family around her, Joe died peacefully at home, just as she wished.

Sandra, Joe’s mom, shared what this meant to their family:

Having Compton Care by our side meant we didn’t feel alone. They guided us through every step, making sure Joe was comfortable, cared for, and most importantly, at home where she belonged. Even after she passed, Compton was there for us, supporting Iris and Joe’s other children as they come to terms with their loss.

You can hear more from Sandra in the video at the top of this page on the impact of Compton’s care at home.
