Last month 150 runners put their best foot forward for #TeamCompton at the annual Wolverhampton 10K. Together, they have already raised more than £28,000 so far to support our work and donations are still coming in!
There was a fantastic atmosphere on the day, with lots of smiles from supporters and the staff and volunteers who helped out on the day.

Wolverhampton West MP, Warinder Juss, also attended the event to cheer on runners and hand out medals as they crossed the finish line.

One runner said:

I did it! What a great event! I couldn’t get over the amazing support from people as we ran, it really helped me get round. It was really lovely to see the local community around the route who came out to cheer everyone on, local children were high-fiving us as we ran past.

Community and Events Fundraiser, Sally Woods said: “Thank you to everyone involved for helping to make this event a huge success. It was wonderful to see so many Compton T-shirts and to meet our amazing runners who have so far raised over £28,000 and donations are still coming in.”
