Care Quality Commission
As a healthcare provider, we are regulated by the Care Quality Commission, an independent regulator of health and social care in England. They ensure that the health and social care services that we provide to you are safe, effective and compassionate, and that our care is of a high quality.
The Care Quality Commission also encourages the continuous improvement of care services. Compton Care runs the below services, available for anyone living in Wolverhampton, the Black Country, Staffordshire and Shropshire
- Community Care
- Inpatient Unit
- Day Therapies Centre (registered for up to 16 patients per day)
- Lymphoedema Care
We are pleased that the Care Quality Commission (CQC) rated Compton Care as ‘Good’ across all services. The rating came after a three-day inspection in April 2016 when inspectors took time to speak with staff, volunteers, patients and families across all areas of the organisation.
Rebecca Brown, Director of Clinical Governance, Compliance & Informatics, said:
“This was a fantastic result which reflects the commitment and dedication of our entire team to deliver the very highest standards of care.”
The full report of the inspection can be found on the Care Quality Commission’s website.
