Thank you for your interest in running in the new Compton Half Marathon 2026, an exciting addition to the local running calendar, designed to challenge, inspire, and bring together runners from across the Midlands and beyond.
The event will take place on Sunday 27 September 2026, with the run starting and finishing at Aldersley Stadium, Wolverhampton. This iconic venue will provide a vibrant race-day atmosphere for both participants and spectators, as well as excellent facilities to support runners before and after the event.
The Compton Half will offer a 13.1‑mile route that showcases some of the area’s most distinctive local scenery passing through Compton and the Semestow Valley. The course which follows a flat railway line is good for PB’s, suitable for first‑time half marathon runners, club runners, and experienced athletes alike.
On completion, all finishers will receive a Compton Half finisher’s medal, with additional race-day amenities designed to make the experience enjoyable and memorable.
