Compton Care’s popular Vintage Kilo Sale returns to Wolverhampton
Eager shoppers were out in force today as specialist palliative and bereavement support provider Compton Care welcomed fashion fans to the return of its much-loved Vintage Kilo Sale.
The popular pop-up is housed at the Community Hub in the city’s Mander Centre and stocks a hand curated selection of men’s and women’s vintage, retro and sportswear with everything priced at just £10 per kilo.
The event continues on Sunday 1 February, giving shoppers another chance to snap up some pre‑loved pieces. Those keen to get first pick can enjoy early bird access for just £2 from 10am to 12pm, while general admission after 12pm is free.
The Vintage Kilo Sale has become a firm favourite with shoppers, combining affordability, sustainability and style in a vibrant pop‑up atmosphere. Jade Field, Visual Merchandising and New Business Development Manager at the charity said: “We’re excited to bring our Vintage Kilo Sale back to Wolverhampton. We have some beautiful pieces in the sale and at just £10 per kilo it’s a great way to refresh your wardrobe while supporting local people.”
Every year, Compton Care supports local people living with life limiting conditions through its range of specialist services, including clinical care on its Inpatient Unit. It also supports patients out in the community, providing compassionate, expert care in the place they call home. Patients’ families also have access to the charity’s services and bereavement support.
The Compton Care Vintage Kilo Sale is hosted in the Community Hub, lower floor Mander Centre on Saturday 31 January and Sunday 1 February. Early bird access for £2 from 10am, general access from 12 – 4pm.
