Compton Care welcomes young visitors with new children’s play area
Compton Care has unveiled a playful new addition to their grounds at Compton Hall.
The charity, based in Wolverhampton, has opened a new children’s play area offering a fun and safe environment for young visitors to expend their energy while visiting loved ones or attending support service appointments.
Rachel Overfield, CEO at Compton Care, said “I’m thrilled to announce that our new children’s play area is now open. Looking after our patients and their loved ones is our number one priority and we are constantly exploring ways to create a supportive and accommodating environment for everyone. We recognise that our visitors span all age groups, and we wanted to ensure that we provide a welcoming and inclusive space for families.
“We are extremely grateful for the generous funding from St. James’s Place Foundation whose application was supported by Peter and Edward from PD Private Client Limited and WARRANT (Willenhall Area Relief Rehabilitation & Nursing Trust), that enabled us to provide this welcome addition for our young visitors.
“It also provides parents with peace of mind, helping to ease what can often be a very challenging experience for families. Thank you to everyone who has supported this project. We look forward to seeing families benefit from this new addition to our facilities.”
Rachel concluded: “We are extremely grateful for the generous, ongoing support that we receive from local organisations and businesses. This enables us to continue providing compassionate care for our patients at our purpose-built facilities and in their own homes”.
