Here at Compton, we have been overwhelmed with the support from YOU over the last year– whether you have shopped online, saved your stock to donate, taken part in a virtual fundraising event, given gifts in kind, made a donation or played the Compton Lottery - YOU have been incredible!

Since the beginning of restrictions in March 2020 we’ve been adhering to the government and professional bodies' guidelines as to how we keep supporters, shoppers, players, volunteers and staff safe.

As a result of the national lockdown (5th January 2020) in England, Compton continues to follow all government guidance and updates all risk assessments to keep everyone safe. In line with current guidance we are continuing with cash collections. While guidance from the government and professional bodies, such as the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and the Fundraising Regulator, we are going to restart our public fundraising from Monday 12 April  2021. This means that we will be able to visit your community to talk about the positive impact you can have by joining our lottery. We will revisit this decision regularly.

Our focus is on keeping everyone safe to play and safe to work.

Government announces easing of COVID-19 restrictions for charity fundraising

Public fundraising will be permitted to return from Monday 12 April, as part of the next phase of the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown.
