Compton Shopping

Grab a bargain, create a smile!

Our charity shops raise over £1million every year, and with a network of 29 across Wolverhampton, the Black Country and the surrounding areas, it couldn't be easier to support us.

You can donate unwanted good quality items, pick up a bargain, or simply make a monetary donation in any of our shops, and can find out about the latest volunteering opportunities.

Through your support and generosity, our shops raise more than £1million pounds each year. From funding the latest achievement in Lymphoedema research to providing vital resources for our community care patients, your donation ensures that we can continue to make a big impact.

You’ll find a variety of quality goods in our Compton care shops, including clothing, household items, books, CDs and bric-a-brac. We also sell a range of seasonal gifts for Christmas, Easter and Halloween.

If you’re looking for something in particular, our specialist stores are for you. Head to our entertainment store in Wombourne for CD’s and DVD’s or if you’re looking to furnish your home, you’ll find at bargain in our Wolverhampton furniture store.

We accept a wide range of goods, so whether you’re downsizing your wardrobe or giving the whole house a spring clean, we’re grateful of anything that you can donate, including:

  • Men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, shoes and accessories
  • Books
  • DVD’s and CD’s
  • Bric-a-brac
  • Toys
  • Working electrical items
  • Items of furniture

If you've got items of furniture to donate or would like to inquire about a house clearance, you can do so here!

Our volunteers are central to the success of our Compton Hospice shops. They do everything from sorting donations and creating eye catching window displays to interacting with customers and working the till.

Working in our shops is the perfect volunteering opportunity for people of all ages. Sparing just a few hours each week really does go a long way in helping us to keep our costs down.
