Three cyclists preparing for City Cycle Challenge event in Wolverhampton in support of Compton Care
City Cycle Challenge

11am - Friday 28th June 2019, at Technology Centre

Team up to see who can cycle the furthest in 40 frantic minutes. Cycle to raise funds and change the lives of local people living with incurable illnesses.

Join the Compton Care City Cycle Challenge – an exciting new team event which aims to raise funds to support local people living with incurable illnesses.

Teams of up to 5 people will compete in a thrilling 40-minute race, pedalling as fast as they can to cover the longest distance.

Choose from one of three race slots:
  • Session 1: 11am—12 noon
  • Session 2: 12 noon—1pm
  • Session 3: 1pm—2pm
Teams can claim victory in the following categories:
  • Furthest distance cycled by team
  • Furthest distance cycled by individual
  • Top fundraising team
  • Best dressed
Entry Fee

£40 per team of up to 5 people

We also ask teams to aim to raise £400 in sponsorship towards providing care and support for those living with the effects of complex and incurable illnesses within their local community.

 

This event is part of the WMCA Mayor’s Giving Day which aims to help businesses give back to their local communities.

This event is organised in partnership with Compton Care and Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice who will be running a similar event in Birmingham.
