Atlas: ‘Helping Bereaved Children’ – An Introduction for Professionals

09am - Tuesday 17th July 2018, at Compton Care Learning and Development Centre

Aim:

This introductory study day is for anyone working with children professionally (e.g. school staff, community organisations, youth workers) who is interested in learning about how to support bereaved children or those who are anticipating a significant bereavement.

The workshop explores how children are affected by bereavement at different ages. This course is suitable for all those who work in schools, community, health and social care with children who are seeking an introduction to childhood bereavement.  Please ask our Learning & Development Team if you are seeking a more advanced learning opportunity.
