Snowdon by Sunset
2pm - Saturday 24th September 2022
Take on Snowdon by sunset
Make 2022 a year to remember and take on Snowdon by sunset. Hike the Ranger Path to the summit at 3560 feet and experience the breath-taking sunset views before descending, in the dark, via the Llanberis Path.
At 2pm, you will meet your experience guide from Adventurous Ewe along with your fellow Compton team mates. At 3:30pm, we will have a transfer bus to the start of the Snowdon Ranger Path. You will begin your ascent of the highest peak in Wales via the Snowdon Ranger Path, on the west side of the mountain. The path carves its way through picturesque farmlands, past beautiful lakes and then follows the ridgeline all the way to the summit.
By climbing on the west side of Snowdon you will be perfectly placed for the sunset. On reaching the summit, there’s time for a team photo and a quick breather before you descend to the northwest via the more gradual Llanberis Path.
On reaching Llanberis, there will be celebratory drinks and pizza to mark your achievement with your fellow team-mates.
There is a £95 registration fee, which includes:
- Expert guides
- Transfer from Llanberis to the Ranger Path
- Pizza and drinks
- Compton Care goodies pack
- Fundraising support throughout
We ask that all participants raise a minimum of £250, your donations will go towards providing care and support to people living with incurable conditions. £250 will provide a session for a patient at our Living Well Service.
