Compton Inpatient Care

Round the clock specialist care when you need it most.

Should you need an extra helping hand, we can support you by providing extraordinary care on our dedicated Inpatient Unit

Whatever the circumstances that bring you to a stay on the Compton Inpatient Unit – whether it be a short term visit to get your symptoms under control, respite care or end of life care – we seek to understand your needs so that we can deliver a care package that is right for you.

Set in the heart of our beautiful Compton Hall site, you’ll stay in one of our 18 private bedrooms, with en-suite bathroom, hoist system, TV, radio and Wi-Fi access. You can personalise your room with photographs, posters and paintings and bring your creature comforts, we want you to feel at home.

All of our rooms are fitted with a nurse call button ensuring that Dr’s, nurses and health care assistants are on hand, whenever you need them.

From your room you’ll enjoy views of our beautiful gardens and are welcome to spend time outside in our grounds should you wish to.

Whilst you’re with Compton, you’ll have access to a range of support services and complimentary therapies as well as access to our Day Therapies Centre. Relax in our orangery, enjoy activities in our communal areas, pamper yourself in our salon or take some time out to reflect in The Sanctuary.

Staying with us doesn’t have to mean putting things on hold. We can accommodate celebrations including birthdays and weddings, and will support you in achieving whatever it is that you set out to do during your time with us.

We want Compton to feel like a home away from home and so our food is prepared freshly every day by our in house team of expert catering staff. Our menu of home cooked meals changes daily, and we’re able to cater for any dietary and nutritional needs that you have.

Your family and friends

We welcome your family and friends to join you during your stay, and have flexible visiting times to suit you all. Relatives and carers are encouraged to take an active role in your care during your time with us, should you wish.

We understand the importance of spending quality time together and have overnight accommodation available should your family and friends need it. Your visitors can stay in purpose built over night rooms, or, can share your room with you if you’d prefer.

Our complimentary therapies and support services are also open to your loved ones. Complex and incurable conditions also affect your wider circle and so we’re here to support you all throughout the process.
