“Compton have been there for us as a family, as well as for mum. Their support has been fantastic.”
Ann’s mum Eileen has been attending our day therapy centre for 2 years, during which time Ann has accessed a number of our supportive care services herself.
“I’ve had support from the social work team, which I knew was available, but I’ve also had complimentary therapy sessions, which I knew nothing about.
“They really do support the whole family, but not everyone knows that the help is available. ”
Knowing that Eileen visits the day therapy centre gives Ann piece of mind that she’s in safe hands every Friday.
“Mum has been visiting Compton for 2 years, and I think that speaks volumes about the care that she gets there.
“People are afraid to send their loved one to a ‘hospice’, but that shouldn’t be the case. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff at Compton.
It’s an amazing place.”
