Head of Education and Training
Katherine joined Compton as Head of Education and Learning in September 2016 from Liverpool Hope University where she was Head of Academic Quality.
Katherine has spent most of her career working either in the NHS or in Higher Education in roles which reflect her passion for high quality, patient centred care, for supporting good governance, for leadership development and for learning and education more broadly. Her previous roles include Deputy Director of a National Governance Support Unit for the NHS, working with providers across the North West of England to enhance their governance frameworks and leading clinical audit and quality improvement teams within provider Trust.
She has previously been appointed to a national advisory group to the Department of Health (NCAAG/NAGCAE) and, in addition to her role at Compton, Katherine is also an Associate of the Clinical Leadership Academy at Keele University and Lead Governor of Mid-Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
